Layron DeJarnette is an Emmy nominated, award winning artist that provides illustration, animation, storyboards and conceptual art for several clients. He trained under Walt Disney animators in the feature animation department at Walt Disney World in Orlando and has illustrated and designed characters for Disney’s “The Proud Family” cartoon show and comic strip.
DeJarnette has also worked as an animation director, character designer and storyboard artist at various studios, including Duck Studios, Hyperion Pictures, Warner Bros. Animation and Klasky Csupo. He has illustrated trading cards for The Topps Company’s "Garbage Pail Kids" and "Hollywood Zombies" series and sketch cards for the "Terminator Salvation" series. He has also provided caricature work for various publications and has illustrated many children’s and humorous books, including five books for comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
DeJarnette has also worked as an instructor teaching figure drawing, anatomy, illustration and animation drawing at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI and Otis College of Art and Design in L.A., CA.
